Our showroom is just outside Solihull at the Earlswood Garden and Landscape Centre, so seeing a fireplace in person is easy. You can compare marble colours in natural light, look at finished surrounds and pick up samples in one visit.

Solihull homes range from period villas to newer builds, and very few suit an off-the-shelf surround. We cut each marble fireplace to the room, so the proportions sit right whether you have a deep chimney breast or a flat wall.

Fireplaces and stone in Solihull

Solihull covers a lot of ground, from the older streets near the town centre and the parks to the interwar semis of Olton and Lode Lane and the newer estates further out. Each tends to suit a different fireplace. A 1930s semi often keeps a proper chimney breast that works with a traditional marble surround, while a newer Solihull home may have a flat wall where an electric or gas fire and a made-to-measure surround make more sense.
