A contemporary media wall in Shirley

The build

We supplied the Tucson suite before manufacturing a pair of bespoke marble benches to sit level with the hearth. The benches were made in matching Blanco Micro and Giorgione marble, so the additional pieces blend with the original fireplace instead of looking like a later compromise.

Keeping the bench height level with the hearth created one continuous line across the wall. That detail matters because it makes the whole feature feel planned, even though the benches were added after the initial installation.

The finish

What started as a Tucson electric suite beneath the television evolved into a fully bespoke feature wall. The matching benches create a balanced, built-in look while keeping the fireplace as the centre of the room.
